Week 2

 Monday

Today we started with a warm up of cat and mouse, and chicken in the hut and a game of wah. After that we did vocal warm up and we learned a few new warm ups. Then we went into groups of 6 and we played a game where we had to name 40 things a chair could be on stage and we need 25. I liked this game because it could be something so random a chair could be and helps with improvisation skills.

Tuesday

 We worked on Stanislavsky, and worked on the 7 levels of tension and continued our work on the 7 levels of tension and continued our work on the script making sure that we incorporated Stanislavsky methods. We rehearsed our script with the beginning that we wrote ourselves. We also rehearsed our scripts with the beginning that we wrote ourselves. We then had Independent study in the library where we even further built upon our scenes.

Wednesday   

 Today we started with a few games and what we wanted to do for the ghost light tours, I decided to be a clown because I wanted to work more on physical acting more then vocabulary because i struggle more there. And I preferred to do the clowns because it has a creepier aspect and people are tend to be scared of them.We went into our groups and worked on different ideas of what we could do for our audition, Then after lunch we did fitness with Abi and we built upon the dance from last week to perm by Bruno Mars. It was fun.

Thursday    

Today we started off with Acting for screen and were given a script which was a phone call, we started to think about how to act differently on screen and on stage. We started to rehearse the scene, but we also had a think about who could be on the other end of the phone call, I decided it was an old relationship that ended horribly who came back to town and wanted everything how it was in the town. We then had an audition prep with Tom, and we continued our work on Brecht and how he shaped modern theatre.I thought it was interesting to see the difference in theatre. Then we had a singing lesson after, and we were with the year 2's and we ran through songs from Pinocchio, and we went through Toys and when you wish upon a star

  My son Pinocchio evaluation Research When the play was talked about happening I immediately got on the computers and was looking up about the show and watching clips of shows, and for my character I wanted to be (Stew) I mainly focused in on them to see what their mannerisms are like and how Stew acted on stage since they were a made up character for the show, I used some of the awkward sassy acts for the show, this also links in with costumes since I tried finding good ones of Stew but there weren't many good representations of her so I shared a costume with Stew, I also watched movies and focused on how the ensemble reacted to main characters and how they are important to show. Unit 8 - Collaborative Project

  Task 1.1 Production Diary   April 29 th – 1st may: Monday   we did a read through for the show lovely bones and I was sharing with my friend saying lines since were the same character but in different casts and then we spoke about what happens and how rehearsals are going on.   Tuesday   Today we started of a game with village, this game helps me with concentration and listening.
