The Flick  Assignment   When we got the task for the flick me Hope and Jasmine went off studied our script and read through it. We then read through the lines and swapped characters to see what fit us best, I was rose/Roz Jasmine was Sam and Hope was Avery.We then had to stop for a bit because of the ghost light tours practised and then after we went straight into Pinocchio. When audition week was over we got straight back to the Flick me jasmine and hope then created a scene, I gave the impression of a sassy harsh character which was fun to do. What was going through my mind when I was reading the things about Rose/Roz was a really confident but rude character so when we were acting it out I was focusing on how my face was moving with giving dirty looks and eye roles felt right as Roses/Roz character. 

  My son Pinocchio evaluation Research When the play was talked about happening I immediately got on the computers and was looking up about the show and watching clips of shows, and for my character I wanted to be (Stew) I mainly focused in on them to see what their mannerisms are like and how Stew acted on stage since they were a made up character for the show, I used some of the awkward sassy acts for the show, this also links in with costumes since I tried finding good ones of Stew but there weren't many good representations of her so I shared a costume with Stew, I also watched movies and focused on how the ensemble reacted to main characters and how they are important to show. Auditions: When audition week started I felt very nervous as I felt like I would of made a fool of my self but I practised lines before hand to make sure I was as prepared as possible.   Ghost light tours evaluation In preparations for the GLT we were speaking about villains like Sweeney Todd, Bonnie and Clyde and Lady Macbeth. Personally i went for the clowns but regretted not getting a speaking part but I did enjoy my part as a clown. Starting with auditions and working what the clowns where going to do for the show, the ideas for the 'clown dance' where good but when it was time to perform it it was not as good as talked. I felt really nervous about it because it was not really good but did not bring it up with the team because it got sorted later.  When we went to the globe to have a tour of the place to know where we were performing. Abi showed us a different performance for the clowns to do which was way more effective then the dance and I felt way more confident doing that.   Monday Today, we walked around in the circle and we walked around in a circle and had to act like a perfect child and we focused on the idyllic nature of them and the fight scene with Pinocchio and focused on the ensemble and what they do in the scene.   Tuesday This Morning, we warmed up and played a few games, we then we got back working on the flick and had to quickly re read my lines as rose and it wasn't that difficult although it needs a bit of work on I think its fine. We then worked in the library to do some independent study and started the assignment. Wednesday We did the choreography for toys and we went through each shoes red blue and green cast and I was sue for red cast and me and jasmine improvised a little dance when the other people where doing the toys dance and singing.   Monday Today we played warm up games like g'day Bruce, vocal warm ups, nun and splat. After that Kelly sat us around and spoke to us about the Pinocchio show and the auditions for it, I felt nervous about auditioning but later studied and learned about the part I'm going for Sue one of the fairies she is quite suck up and has loads of attitude.  Tuesday This morning, we did more preparations and running through lines for the audition, I felt nervous at first but when i started playing around with sues words and how she spoke to how it felt right it was fine, I went in and tried my best and then after got given more things to practise which I have learned.   Monday Today we started with a warm up of cat and mouse, and chicken in the hut and a game of wah. After that we did vocal warm up and we learned a few new warm ups. Then we went into groups of 6 and we played a game where we had to name 40 things a chair could be on stage and we need 25. I liked this game because it could be something so random a chair could be and helps with improvisation skills. Tuesday  We worked on Stanislavsky, and worked on the 7 levels of tension and continued our work on the 7 levels of tension and continued our work on the script making sure that we incorporated Stanislavsky methods.
